Cyprus offers year-round sunshine

Cyprus has been praised for offering hot and sunny weather conditions all year round.

The Mediterranean country was described as the island of all seasons by the Galway Advertiser, which said it enjoys hot summers and mild winters.

This has led to it becoming a popular holiday destination for 12 months of the year, which has in turn created opportunities for overseas property buyers.

According to the newspaper, the island offers "great value" properties and the potential for growth.

Prospective buyers were also told that house prices are going up by between 15 and 20 per cent every year, which means that property owners stand to make a profit if they sell up in future.

Commenting on its investment potential, the Galway Advertiser said: "The property market in Cyprus remains very strong and vibrant, offering excellent value with quality developments."

The publication added that Cyprus is also safer, more affordable and more secure than many other popular investment hotspots.

This comes after the Sunday Mail described Cyprus as one of the "hottest spots" to invest in overseas property.
