Monarch launches new Cyprus flights
Monday January 7th , 2008

Budget airline Monarch has announced that it is to launch new services to Cyprus later this year.
The carrier will offer passage to Larnaca from both London Gatwick and Manchester, further opening up the destination to British travellers.
This may also boost the appeal of the area among overseas property buyers, including investors who hope to cash in on the area's tourist market.
Meanwhile, Monarch has announced that it will also increase the number of flights to Larnaca from Luton Airport to 14 services per week.
Commenting on the move, managing director Liz Savage said: "There has been huge demand from passengers for additional scheduled services to Cyprus."
This comes after British Airways announced that it would also be expanding its presence on the Mediterranean island this year.
The carrier will offer passage to the region from London's Gatwick Airport every day from the beginning of July.
