Nicosia presents the perfect opportunity for property investors, according to one industry expert.
Martin Pearce, UK sales manager for Aristo Developers, has told the Liverpool Echo that the city hold a great deal of potential for anybody looking for property in Cyprus.
He added that upward pressure for property due to the city's developing significance as a financial and business hub is raising prices and in turn leading to "increased monthly rental rates".
The expert stated that tenants are "able to pay well" for the right home, with a good year-round demand being experienced by investors in Nicosia.
Mr Pearce said: "An investor can rest assured in the knowledge that demand is very broad in Nicosia, and it's consistently strong because the city is developing and advancing its international reputation."
Cyprus's minister of commerce, industry and tourism, Antonis Paschalides, recently met with representatives from the Cyprus Tourism Organisation and the island's Hoteliers Association to discuss the impact that Brits have on the country, the Financial Mirror reported.
International Property Awards in association with Google and Bloomberg Television have awarded MASA Internaitonal the Best Estate Agency in Spain award.
