Pafilia expands portfolio

Pafilia Property Developers has recently expanded its portfolio to include investment in Crete, it has emerged.

The company has already enjoyed much success with its projects in Cyprus and has chosen the next largest island in the Eastern Mediterranean for its expansion.

Cyprus and Crete share many similarities such as good accessibility, more than 300 days a year of sunshine and an array of high quality beaches.

Evangelia Eliadou, executive director of Pafilia said Crete offers a "great opportunity" for her organisation's expansion plan.

"Crete represents a very positive step forward for the company and we have followed our proven formula of investigating a market, setting up our own local office, finding the best locations and providing on site support," she remarked.

It was recently reported that the Cyprus Tourism Organisation has shifted the emphasis of its strategy to attract the higher end of the luxury holiday market in the wake of the economic downturn.
