InsureandGo believes travel agents and airlines should inform people of any visa requirements that need to be met to avoid unfortunate circumstances once they reach the airport.
Perry Wilson, InsureandGo founder, says that some policies only apply to certain parts of the world and may not cover exempt nations.
He adds that the government should also do more to alert travellers of insurance and visa limitations.
