Friday August 8th , 2008

Economic problems in the UK are prompting more and more British people to look into the possibility of moving abroad.
Currency specialist HiFX stated that the number of people from the UK moving abroad has gone up by ten per cent this year.
In addition, it revealed that overall amount of enquiries it has received from prospective migrants has gone up by nearly a third during this period.
Mark Bodega, director of HiFX, has attributed this to the economic downturn which is the UK is currently experiencing.
He commented: "Even more people are looking to move abroad this year shows that there is now a very real desire to escape some of the problems in the UK economy."
Mr Bodega added that this is particularly noteworthy as 2007 saw a record number of British people relocate to another country.
Meanwhile, a study by Candarel has found that economic problems in the UK are having a profound impact on financially-secure women in their 40s and 50s.
Research revealed that 41 per cent of people in this demographic want to move abroad as they feel that economic problems are threatening their financial security.
