The Italian province of Calabria could be a good destination for overseas property buyers, an expert has advised.
Real estate specialist Marco Rossi stated that the province, located in the south of Italy, offered benefits such as attractive scenery and bargain property values.
The town of Pizzo was highlighted as one option to consider, since it was a "thriving" seaside resort that was easily accessible.
He said the area was a good option for foreign property buyers since it was located near to an international airport and had lots of leisure facilities such as restaurants and bars, as well as cultural attractions.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Mr Rossi commented: "Properties here will attract good rental income.
"This really is a great time to buy in Calabria."
He added that the recent level of interest in the province, which he described as the "Italian riviera", had been "amazing".
This comes after British newspaper the Telegraph stated that Calabria was becoming increasingly fashionable among foreign property buyers, while remaining affordable.
