Italian province praised by investor

The south of Italy has been highlighted as a good option for overseas property investors.
Stephen Ferguson and his wife Sandra recently chose to invest in the Calabria province, acquiring a newly-built apartment for £67,000.
Speaking to the Sunday Mail, he stated that he had been drawn to the area by many factors, such as its reasonable property values.
In addition, he said Calabria had more charm than many other popular investment hotspots, since it was not as crowded and practically undiscovered.
Mr Ferguson commented: "You're very much away from the hustle and bustle of a busy resort but there are still great facilities and lots of things to do."
He added that they chose to invest in Calabria after visiting it for a holiday, during which they "fell in love" with the area.
This comes after real estate specialist Marco Rossi told the Daily Record that properties in the province were likely to attract good rental income.
