
Plans have been announced for a new luxury villa development in the Italian region of Calabria.
The scheme which has been dubbed The Seven Wonders of the World will feature homes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms overlooking a picturesque beach.
VFI Overseas Property has released images of the project to be built in Soverato, an area which is currently experiencing a surge in holiday home construction.
Antonio Velardo, overseas director of VFI, said: "This project will introduce a standard at the very top end of the luxury homes market to the southern Italian Riviera.
"We are delighted to be at the forefront of this revolution in quality development and we intend to introduce more such exclusive communities in the future."
Calabria is now starting to rival some of Italy's famous property hotspots, with Windrush Alliance recently unveiling its Portoada Park development in the region.
The company described the complex as "one of the most exclusive villa developments" in the area.
International Property Awards in association with Google and Bloomberg Television have awarded MASA Internaitonal the Best Estate Agency in Spain award.
