Property expert praises Italy

Italy's suitability for second home buyers from the UK has been highlighted by a property expert.
Broadcaster Amanda Lamb, who hosts Channel 4's A Place in the Sun, recently purchased a holiday home in Puglia, south-east Italy.
Commenting on the location, she said it is an ideal place to escape to at the weekends with friends and family.
However, she added that this part of the country has only recently been tapped into by foreign property buyers.
Therefore, the market is growing and a property in the region could be a potentially lucrative investment.
Ms Lamb commented: "This part of Italy has traditionally been seen as the poorer relation of the north and it is now beginning to develop and grow."
This comes after A Place in the Sun magazine revealed that Italy is currently the fifth most popular overseas property market among British buyers.
