Moving to Cyprus 'not a huge change of lifestyle' for Brits

Emigrating to Cyprus is not a huge change of lifestyle, according to one property expert.

In news which may interest people looking for property in Cyprus, Paul Collins, property editor at BuyAssociation.co.uk, said the country does offer "enough of a change to attract people".

He added: "It has a very similar judicial system to English law and it has a lot of other things very similar to the UK; they drive on the left and a lot of the retail and commerce side of things are very similar to the UK as well."

Mr Collins added that people looking for Cyprus property could benefit from the process being "pretty straightforward", with a lot of aspects of law being "very similar to English law" which can make purchasing easier for Brits.

The Cyprus Tourist Organisation estimates that around 1.3 million Brits visit Cyprus every year.

Most of these visit the coastal resorts of Ayai Napa, Paphos and Limassol.
