Turkey is now one of the most attractive markets for property as buyers avoid the euro, it has been claimed.
Giovanna Gentile, the PR executive of Atlas International, has said that the country was becoming more popular as buyers look for euro-free alternatives.
Ms Gentile explained that investors can buy properties in sterling and that prices are still "very low compared to the rest of Europe".
She added: "Some areas of Turkey are actually standing up very well and areas such as Antalya and Fethiye are still on the rise."
Ms Gentile cited the example of two-bedroom beach-front apartments in Didim available from £34,000.
Turkey has also been described as ideal for those looking for a safe investment on a second home.
According to Tracy Ogretici, of Elite Homes, construction of new airports, marinas and golf courses, along with Turkey's position outside the euro zone, mean it is a good choice for investment.
International Property Awards in association with Google and Bloomberg Television have awarded MASA Internaitonal the Best Estate Agency in Spain award.
