British buyers set up home in Spain
Thursday March 27th , 2008

Buyers of Spanish property are increasingly choosing to live in their new residence full-time, according to analysts.
Assetz Finance said that a growing number of people are looking at purchasing a property in another country.
However, the organisation stated Britons are not just buying in order to generate wealth or to have a holiday home overseas.
Many were said to be packing their bags and looking to live in their foreign property on a permanent basis.
Katy Hepworth, overseas mortgage manager at Assetz Finance, highlighted Spain as a particularly popular destination among this group.
She commented: "Buying a home overseas has become an increasingly accessible option for those looking for a change of lifestyle."
Earlier this week, NuBricks.com stated that British expats who move to Spain could enjoy a lower cost of living in their new home.
