Britons buy Costa del Sol property

Traditional markets such as the Costa del Sol are still popular with British property buyers, according to a media report.

The Telegraph said the holiday resort, which is located along the Spanish coastline, is still attracting a considerable level of interest from overseas.

In addition, it stated that the region is proving to be popular with different types of buyers, such as property investors and those who are seeking retirement homes in the sun.

The newspaper commented: "It remains a hugely popular, tried-and-tested destination for buyers of all sorts."

Investors were also told that other areas such as Costa Verde could be appealing alternatives, as it has slightly cheaper property values.

However, it added that the one of the most attractive aspects of a more established location is its easy accessibility.

This comes after the Sun claimed that the number of Britons looking to buy property overseas has "skyrocketed" in the last few years.
