Britons keep buying Spanish properties
Tuesday July 1st , 2008

Spain is still a popular location among overseas property investors in the UK, it has been revealed.
According to HolidayLettings.co.uk, there is no visible sign of a drop in the amount of interest in the country.
Indeed, the organisation says the Spanish market is actually performing better this year than it did in 2007.
Ross Elder, managing director of HolidayLettings.co.uk, said rental properties are still in demand because people are not willing to sacrifice a holiday abroad, even in the current financial climate.
He commented: "People aren't compromising on wanting a holiday - they're quite committed about that."
Mr Elder added that their determination to go overseas could be because a break is considered to be essential to their wellbeing.
This comes after the Association of British Travel Agents said the Spanish market is holding up "very well" in the face of global economic problems such as the credit crisis.
