Brits leave in search of sun

Britons are moving to countries such as Spain in search of better weather, new research has revealed.
According to a study by Foreign Currency Direct, 31 per cent of people who thinking of setting up home overseas have been prompted to do so because of the climate in the UK.
Living in an area with year-round sunshine has become a highly popular aspiration among British people.
This has been particularly apparent since last summer, during which the country was lashed with torrential rains that caused severe flooding.
Peter Ellis, chief executive of Foreign Currency Direct, commented: "Buying property overseas is an excellent investment and a great opportunity for a better quality of life."
He added that other people were choosing to leave because they believe the cost of living in the UK is too high.
Mr Ellis also revealed that some were looking at emigrating because of concerns over crime in Britain.
