European businesses "hiring at a professional and managerial level"
Tuesday September 9th , 2008

An international survey has found that businesses are aggressively hiring outside the UK, providing good news for those looking to relocate abroad.
Recruitment firm Antel asked 1,500 major companies in western and eastern Europe - and countries further afield - whether they were still recruiting for top positions.
In Germany, 57 per cent of the companies questioned were taking on staff and 64 per cent expecting to do so over the next quarter.
For those looking at relocating to Italy, the figure improves, with 70 per cent of firms recruiting at a managerial level.
Half of the Spanish companies surveyed would be looking to take professional staff on board.
Chief executive officer of Antel Tony Goodwin says: "This survey does suggest that the jobs market for managers and professionals ... is still in very good health."
According to the Telegraph, expats sent abroad by their employer will usually earn a very attractive salary and lead a very good lifestyle.
