Expats 'happy after move overseas'
Monday December 10th , 2007

The majority of British expatriates believe they have made the correct decision by moving abroad, according to a new study.
Research by UKForex found that eight out of ten Britons who now lived in another country were happy in their new life, reports YourMortgage.
The poll of expats also found that only half had been content living in the UK, prompting many to decide to set up home overseas.
Spain was identified as one of the most popular locations and the country where people were happiest.
More than nine out of ten expats living in the European country were pleased with their new lives there, statistically making it a more satisfying location than places such as Canada and Australia.
Chris Humphrey, general manager at UKForex, commented: "It's good to see that the majority of those who have already made the move are happy with their decision."
This comes after the Office for National Statistics revealed that a record number of Britons moved abroad last year.
