More holidaymakers head for Spain

Tourist officials in Spain have reported an increase in the number of foreign arrivals last month.
According to the country's tourism ministry, 3.3 million people visited Spain during February 2008.
The figure is 6.5 per cent up on the amount recorded 12 months earlier, a development which suggests that demand for tourist accommodation has also gone up.
As a result, many owners of rental property in Spain will find themselves in line to enjoy higher occupancy rates and larger rental yields.
Furthermore, property in prime locations could potentially go up in value due to the growth in tourism.
Spain's status as a tourist hotspot was recently highlighted ahead of the Easter weekend, as industry officials tipped it to be a popular destination among international leisure travellers.
According to the Association of British Travel Agents, Spain was the "outright favourite" among those heading abroad for the Bank Holiday.
