Moving abroad 'will remain popular among Britons'
Monday April 21st , 2008

The growing desire to live abroad among many British people shows no signs of abating, a national newspaper has stated.
According to the Telegraph, suggesting that the amount of interest in moving overseas is falling off is "wildly premature".
The publication said so many people are now relocating to a new country that there is now an "exodus" from the UK.
Indeed, the Office for National Statistics recently revealed that about 207,000 Britons moved abroad in 2006 - a record number under current measuring systems.
However, the Telegraph urged older people to make sure they moved to a place which offers good quality healthcare facilities.
The newspaper said that while many European countries offer "excellent" medical care, foreign expats are not always allowed to use it free of charge.
This could be of particular importance to retirees, who may be likely to need access to these facilities.
"Many of those retiring to the sun are doing so at a time when body and brain begin to disintegrate at increasing speed," the Telegraph said.
