New flights to Malaga confirmed

Owners of rental accommodation in Malaga are set to benefit from the launch of new flights from the UK.

Low-cost airline easyJet is offering direct passage to the Spanish tourist hotspot as part of its expansion at Manchester Airport.

This means that the region will be far more easily accessible to consumers who live in the north-west of England.

Therefore, it is likely that there will be an increase in the number of Britons who choose to visit Malaga this year.

If this is the case, rental investors will be well-placed to benefit directly, as there will be a surge in demand for tourist accommodation.

David Osborne, general manager of easyJet in the UK, commented: "[The airline] recognises the strong demand for low-cost convenient services from the north-west."

According to Spanish newspaper Sur, parts of Malaga are already proving to be popular with lifestyle buyers.

The publication revealed that foreign expatriates account for more than a fifth of the population in Coin, which is located about 20 miles west of Malaga city.
