Spain continues to attract Britons

Property buyers from the UK are continuing to be drawn to the Spanish market, industry analysts have revealed.

According to the Spanish Property Owners Guild, the European country has a number of attractions which are very tempting to British people.

The organisation highlighted its good climate as one of the main factors in its favour, as it offers sunny weather all year round.

Spain was also said to be a popular choice because it is easily accessible from the UK, as well as a highly affordable place to visit.

Commenting on its appeal, spokesperson Paul Bradley remarked: "Spain will always continue to be popular.

"I've been here for 20 years - it is still a wonderful life."

He added that the cost of living in Spain is much lower than in the UK, hence its popularity among British expatriates.

This comes after the Sun stated that about 5.5 million Britons are now living abroad, mainly in sunnier climes.
