Spain to attract Bank Holiday tourists
Friday April 25th , 2008

Spain is set to be a popular destination among Britons who are heading abroad next month, it has been revealed.
According to a poll by TripAdvisor, the country is one of the main hotspots for those who want to spend the May Bank Holiday overseas.
Almost half of respondents said they are planning to go away for the holiday weekend, while one in five said they intend to go abroad.
Commenting on the findings, TripAdvisor stated that Britons are clearly not being put off travelling to the continent by the current financial crisis across the world.
The organisation highlighted the current weakness of the pound against the single European currency as one factor which is not deterring holidaymakers.
However, the Post Office recently revealed that due to varying costs across the eurozone, the price of general expenses in Spain is much lower than in places such as France.
