Travellers reveal top holiday destinations

Some of Europe's most popular destinations for a second home have made it on to a list of top ten holiday destinations for Britons.
For those looking at rental potential in a second home, the results from Pricerunner.co.uk could prove interesting reading.
Spanish resorts undoubtedly proved most popular for those questioned, with Malaga ranking at number four on the poll and Alicante not far behind in fifth position.
Tenerife, Barcelona and Lanzarote also made it in to the top 20.
French resorts were not neglected either, with Nice interestingly ranking above Paris.
The only Portuguese location to feature was Faro, holding seventh position.
Within the eurozone, Italy proved most popular in the poll, holding out in third place.
Mattias Berg, managing director of PriceRunner.co.uk, recommends that people "just shop around" when it comes to choosing that all important holiday destination, advice which is also true for those looking to buy a second property overseas.
Figures compiled by the Office for National Statistics suggest that seven per cent of adults in the south-east of England own a second property, according to thisismoney.co.uk.
