Unhappy Britons pack bags and go abroad

The prospect of enjoying year-round sunshine is not the only issue that is tempting Britons overseas, new research has found.

According to removals firm Robinsons International, many British nationals currently believe the cost of living in the UK is too high.

Therefore, a record number of people are now considering packing their suitcases and setting up home in places such as Spain.

Research by the company also identified a number of other factors which have left British people disillusioned, including the growth of yob culture and work pressures.

Furthermore, many prospective migrants blamed the government and prime minister Gordon Brown for driving them abroad.

Commenting on the findings, Anthony Robinson of Robinsons International said: "It's perhaps not surprising that so many people are looking for the better standard of living offered by other countries."

According to ShelterOffshore.com, the European country is especially popular with retirees from the UK.
