Demand for rental property boosted by Russians

Holidaymakers from Russia could be boosting demand for rental accommodation in Europe.
According to the Sun, countries such as Turkey and Italy have been attracting more Russian visitors in recent years.
The newspaper, which cited Spain as another popular destination, said this was partly due to the increased affluence of the Russian middle class.
Speaking to the publication, John Bevan of online travel agent Lastminute.com said that Russians were becoming the "most prominent force" in the European tourist trade.
He added: "The battle for Europe's sunbeds will be more intense than ever this summer."
This observation contrasts with a report from travel firm Thomas Cook, which recently revealed that British leisure travellers were increasingly opting to head outside of the eurozone.
The current value of the pound against the euro was cited as one of the main reasons for tourists to head for countries that are not in the currency, such as Turkey and Morocco.
