People looking to purchase property abroad may be interested to know that Turkey has been deemed a nation with a developing tourist industry.
Speaking to online resource Spero Forum, Anja Braun, spokeswoman for German travel business TUI said that Turkey "continues to develop well" and has the potential to attract more tourists.
"It offers good value for money. European Union nations find it hard to keep up with such a price-performance ratio," she added.
The news provider stated that Turkey's currency is currently weak providing a good opportunity for Britons wanting to buy in the nation.
It added that the number of tourists visiting the country is up 18.5 per cent in the past year, compared to 5.5 per cent in Greece.
Meanwhile, Turkish newspaper Today's Zaman recently reported that the number of foreign holidaymakers visiting the "tourist centre" of Antalya continues to grow, resulting in all hotels being fully booked, even at the beginning of the summer season.
