Holiday firm aims to expand in Turkey
Monday March 10th , 2008

A German holiday firm has announced plans to expand further into the Turkish tourism industry.
Dr Michael Frenzel, chairman of TUI said Turkey has become an increasingly important market for the company.
Speaking to the Turkish Daily News, he said the country was now a "central" part of its future plans that has the capacity for further growth.
Dr Frenzel commented: "Our Turkey sales are quite significant [and] we would like to expand more."
He added that the firm is aiming to draw two million leisure travellers to the country throughout the next 12 months.
This is good news for people who own rental property in Turkey, as an increase in tourism will drive up demand for temporary lodgings.
Sarah Brown from NuBricks.com recently predicted that plans to double annual visitor numbers in the next 15 years could potentially trigger a property boom.
If this occurs, the market should become highly desirable to prospective investors.
