Investors encouraged to consider Turkey

Overseas property buyers in the UK have been advised to consider entering the Turkish market.

Independent analysts Amberlamb said the European country would be a good option as its market is supported by a number of strong fundamentals.

For example, it stated that there has recently been a "significant" increase in the number of international flights to Turkey.

This means that the country is highly accessible and likely to become more popular among global leisure travellers.

Amberlamb commented: "Tourism interest in Turkey is predicted to expand well over the global norm for at least the next decade."

As a result, property investors could benefit from high demand for temporary accommodation among foreign visitors and the proceeds of the rent.

This comes after Rhiannon Williamson of ShelterOffshore.com predicted that 25 million leisure travellers would arrive in Turkey this year.
