Turkey praised by British expats

Turkey has been given a glowing appraisal by two British expatriates who now live in the country full-time.
According to David and Rosemary Nigbur, Turkey is a "stunning" place to live that offers a variety of attractions.
Speaking to the Sun, the retired couple praised the country's housing market as it has affordable properties that are appreciating in value.
Ms Nigbur added that Turkey also offers a number of lifestyle benefits, such as sunny weather and lots of things to do.
She commented: "We are so glad that we ended up in Turkey as the people and climate are fantastic."
However, the couple said learning a few phrases of the native language could be a good move, as local people "love it" when foreign arrivals make this kind of effort.
Earlier this week, Turkey was flagged up as a good retirement destination by ShelterOffshore.com.
According to the website, the country has good-quality infrastructure, amenities and a good climate, as well as relatively low cost of living.
