Turkish 'Brad Pitt' boosts tourism

A Turkish actor who has been dubbed "the Middle East's Brad Pitt" has given the country's tourism industry an unexpected boost.

Kivanc Tatlitug currently stars in 'Noor', a soap opera which has spearheaded the growing success of Turkish TV dramas across the region.

Furthermore, the blond haired and blue eyed actor's bourgeoning fame has now caused a surge of regional interest in his country, which may benefit those with property in Turkey.

The 25-year-old actor - a former basketball player and male model who won the Best Model of the World contest in 2002 – said he has been surprised by the attention he creates.

He said: "The reaction is unbelievable. I am faced with people screaming. There are people who cry with joy. Age is not important."

Atlas International recently claimed that property in Turkey is a wise investment choice for Brits looking to make a foreign purchase as the country has not adopted the euro.
