Turkish property attracts lifestyle buyers

Second home buyers from the UK are increasingly choosing to enter the Turkish market, a newspaper has revealed.

According to the Daily Mail, the country has a number of lifestyle attractions which appeal to British people.

The publication highlighted its physical attributes including its warm weather as a major draw, along with its attractive scenery and exotic culture.

In addition, it revealed that its relatively low cost of living is also proving attractive to holiday home buyers.

The Daily Mail observed: "This kind of market is attracting the buyer seeking to enjoy the Turkish lifestyle, rather than speculators after a quick return."

However, it stated that during the last five years, house prices in the most popular areas have gone up by about 25 per cent a year.

This means that the country also offers strong investment potential to those who wish to sell a house on at a profit.

According to ShelterOffshore.com, Turkey offers far more affordable property values than the UK.

The country was also praised for some of its other attractions, including its good-quality infrastructure, amenities and climate.
