Plans to boost the number of holidaymakers in Turkey have been described as "ambitious" by independent analysts.
Foreign Property Buyer said that Turkish government wants to attract more than 50 million visitors a year by 2023.
This will be more than double the amount of holidaymakers recorded last year and should be highly lucrative for the country's economy.
Commenting on the plans, the online portal said that authorities have high ambitions regarding the tourism industry.
However, it stated that the success of the plans could be particularly good news for overseas property investors, as there will be more demand for rental accommodation.
Foreign Property Buyer commented: "With the increase in tourist numbers, rental yields will improve."
The website added that people who purchase holiday accommodation could potentially collect "excellent returns".
Sarah Brown from NuBricks.com recently predicted that plans to double annual visitor numbers in the next 15 years could potentially trigger a property boom in the country.
