Pizzo is one of the most renowned towns in the Vibo Valentia province on the western coast of Calabria. The town is a well-known and popular seaside resort as well as a thriving fishing center. Pizzo and the province to which it belongs to, Vibo Valentia, is famous for its scenic rugged coast, long sandy beaches, pleasant climate and the best ice cream in the world. The region is steeped in history, with its roots dating back to 7th century BC when it originally became inhabited as the Greek colony of Hipponion.

Pizzo Beach Club is a 5 star resort, situated on the shore of the Tyrrhenian Sea and within a short 20 minute drive of Lamezia International airport offering direct and inexpensive flights to the UK. The resort comprises of studios, apartments, penthouses and villas (quads), each elegantly designed over two levels. The development also offers a football field, tennis courts, a clubhouse with restaurant and bar facilities as well as swimming pools and botanic gardens, perfect for relaxing, lazy or active holidays. An ancient forest of pine and eucalyptus trees separates the resort from the beach, which is only a short 5 minute walk away from the resort.
