The best place to spend a baking hot day is on the beach at Belek. The sand is a soft, milky white and while the breeze from the Med offers a welcome relief, the glistening waters are calm enough for long chilled-out floating.

Quick Tip: It’s not always easy to find a public toilet in Turkey so it’s worth knowing that all mosques have public toilets (Tuvalet) -"Bay" is man; "Bayan" means lady.
